How to Make a Bouquet of Non-Woven Fabric Lavender Using Laser Engraving Machine?

How to Make a Bouquet of Non-Woven Fabric Lavender Using Laser Engraving Machine?

Materials and Tools You'll Need:

  • Purple/blue Non-woven fabric (this is what we’ll cut into lavender shapes)
  • Kraft paper(to wrap the bouquet)
  • Green paper tape (to wrap around the stems)
  • Wood (for the stems)
  • Hot glue gun (for sticking things together)

Step-by-step Instructions:

First, you need to take out a piece of purple non-woven fabric and use a laser cutter to cut out the pattern we need. Then, take a piece of wood and cut it to make the stems of the lavender. You can click to get the laser cutting file.

1.Laser Cutting Settings:

We're using the Sculpfun iCube 5W laser cutter. These are the laser cutting settings we used while making it. You can use them as a reference.

  • Power: 100%
  • Speed: 200mm/min
  • One pass

Wooden Lavender Stems

  • Power: 100%
  • Speed: 200mm/min
  • Two passes

2.Wrap the wooden sticks with green paper tape.

3.Fold the cut non-woven fabric in half.

4.Stick the lavender petals on.

Apply glue to one end of the folded non-woven fabric with a hot glue gun.

Then start wrapping it around one end of the wooden stick.

Apply glue at the end to secure the entire lavender petals to the wooden stick.

Keep making the rest of the lavender the same way. You can also choose your favorite colors of non-woven fabric, like blue and classic purple, to make a unique bouquet.

5.Wrap it into a bouquet.

After finishing the bouquet part, now we take out the kraft paper to start wrapping. First, take a corner of the kraft paper and fold it up.

Next, place the prepared lavender inside the folded area of the paper. Then, roll both sides of the paper to wrap around the lavender.

After rolling, adjust the kraft paper and lavender so they look nice. Finally, use a hot glue gun to stick it together securely.
